Contemporary SIPs End Terrace, Sheffield

This is another project being undertaken by Robin & Elaine Grayson who have many years experience both in the building business and in the use of SIPs (They built their own SIPs house!). This is a high quality contemporary building using a selection of glazing formats which creates life to the elevational treatment of the dwelling whilst maintaining there proportions as well as reinforcing the bespoke nature of the development.

INTERESTING FACT: The Hunt house is a very exciting project in many ways. Whilst the clent's brief on the one level is very simple i.e. the creation of a 3 bedroomed house, on another level, their aspiration to create a truly modern re-interpretation of a s storey dwelling at low cost, high quality and to a high level of sustainability has proved inspirational. It is hoped with the help of the local planning office that Hunt House will become a template for sensitive, modern housing which minimises environmental impact but maximizes benefits to the occupier and the surrounding community.
