Eco Church Extension
St James Church in Baildon is a wooden tongue-and-groove structure which was transported 200 miles from Essex back in 1904. The grade two listed building is now being moved 23 metres to make way for housing. As part of the project a new meeting room and kitchen is to be built using the Kingspan Tek building system. SIPs panels will give the congregation a warm building with low ongoing fuel bills. From a construction perspective SIPs panels have proved very easy to timber clad to match the existing church.
