Extension to Bede House, St Aidan's School, Harrogate. North Yorkshire
This was the third project we have carried out with St Aidan's and it was unquestionably the most challenging! Richard Eves Architects from Harrogate designed a large hall area with vaulted ceilings which required the use of a glulam frame to support the SIPs structure.

INTERESTING FACT: The glulam frame required to support the roof was imported from Denmark and the steel plates on each side of the cranked ridge beam weigh over half a tonne!
