SIPS Extension to Ty'n y Felin Outdoor Pursuits Centre, Anglesey
The architect, Richard Williams, set out to design a low energy environmentally friendly building. In addition to using SIPS panels he also added an additional 50mm of Insulation to improve the āUā value for the building to 0.15. The building also incorporates a grey water harvesting system and solar Panels.

INTERESTING FACT: Richard Williams is delighted with the performance of the building, the underfloor heating was only used twice over the winter period 2006/2007, which is quite remarkable considering its exposed coastal location.

Walls and roof: Kingspan TEK Building System
Outer walls: Rendered finish with areas of timber cladding
Roof Tiles: Grey Slate
Heating: Underfloor to ground floor only and MVHR system. Hot water provided by solar panels.
