If I don't need an engineered 'I'-beam ceiling, can I use traditional timber?
Yes, timber can be used as the ceiling between the living accommodation and un-inhabited roof void. However, the TEK system lends its self better to engineered joists due to their accuracy and tolerances as well as quick installation.
