The Kingspan TEK Building System exceeded the Building Regulation requirements with regards to fire resistance and achieved 54 minutes fire resistance and structural integrity (when internally lined with 12.5 mm standard plasterboard) and 73 minutes fire resistance and structural integrity (when internally lined with 12.5 mm fire resistant plasterboard) in accordance with BS476: Part 21: 1987 ((Fire tests on building materials and structures).
