SIPS Eco Extension, Isle of Arran
Ian Cook, the architect for the project has been specifying and building with the Kingspan TEK Building System since it fist arrived in th UK. He has a great understanding of how the system works and how it can benefit his clients by making best use of the space available and reducing the space heating requirements.

INTERESTING FACT: Scotland being the wettest & coldest part of the UK has traditionally used timber frame as the preferred method of building. The progression to SIPs was an easy step to take for both the client and architect. On Arran the benefits of a well insulated and airtight house are well apreciated!
