New SIPS Detached 1.5 Storey House at Sliddery
Ian Cook, the architect for the project has been specifying and building with the Kingspan TEK Building System since it first arrived in the UK. He has a great understanding of how the system works and how it can benefit his clients by making best use of the space available and reducing space heating requirements.

INTERESTING FACT: Through imaginative engineering we were able to design out the requirement for valley beams, this greatly increased the usable space in the end bedroom.

Foundation: Concrete Slab
Walls and roof: The Kingspan TEK Building System
Outer walls: Mixture of Cement Render and Local Stone
Roof Tiles: Reclaimed Green Slate
Heating: Underfloor heating powered by a ground source heat pump backed up by a woodburning stove.
