SIPs Bungalows at Greenways, Driffield

Jonathan chose the SIPs system for its ease & speed of erection as well as its cleanliness over the more traditional internal block method which he has used previously (which is so time consuming in comparison).

Development factfile

Client: JenJay Limited - Jonathan Priestley

SIPS Started: 17.5.2010
SIPS Completed: 18.5.2010
Project Address: 49A & 49B Greenways, Driffield, East Yorkshire, YO25 5HU
INTERESTING FACT: Whilst these bunbalows are only small in size, the second one was started on 17th May (excluding the raft) with the SIPs going up first followed by the trussed roof, soffitt, fascia, guttering, roof tiles, external brick skin and UPVC windows - all this completed in 13 days! (which includes 2 days for scaffold erection & dismantling). 'it is a very efficient way to build especially if you can get the other trades organised because once felted in they can get to work on the first fix'.
